Turkmenistan performed well in business and trade in 2020, Brand Finance told Trend.

“For Turkmenistan to increase its nation brand value next year, the nation should focus on Governance and media and communications measures,” said the message.

Brand Finance included Turkmenistan in the rating of 100 national brands in 2020. Thus Turkmenistan was in 81st place with Nation Brand Value for 2020 in the amount of $32 billion. Meanwhile, Turkmenistan’s Brand Strength Index score for this year was 56.6, while the 2020 Brand strength Rating was “A”.

Overall, Brand Finance look at each nation across 7 pillars: Business & Trade, Governance, International Relations, Culture & Heritage, Media & Communication, Education & Science, People & Values.

“Each of these pillars has various sub-measures which come from a combination of publicly available data sets (such as IMF, WEF, World Bank, etc data and our annual soft power study survey which covered more than 100 countries in the latest wave,” clarified Brand Finance.
