By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

A significant agreement was signed between the Georgian software company Apollo 11 and the British IT consulting company Centigen Soft UK, as a result of which Centigen Soft UK became the largest shareholder of Apollo 11, the Apollo 11 told Trend.

"Such a large-scale investment of British IT consulting company Centigen Soft UK in Apollo 11 company staffed entirely with Georgian intellectual resources is considered to be one of the first precedents and very important news for Georgian IT industry," the company said.

According to the source, after the investment, Apollo 11 transformed from a Georgian company into an international company.

"This provides us access to a much larger scale of the network to deliver our services and products. All the while increasing trust with our existing and potential clients," the Apollo 11 added.

This demonstrates that our company is scaling up and we have more tools to export Georgian intellectual resources to the global market, the company said.

The next step for Apollo 11 is to strengthen its position in the global market and work on even larger projects with Centigen Soft UK. It is planned to launch its own SaaS and Open Source products for the international market, significant activities in this direction have already started and will be available on the market from 2021.
