Iran to launch several facilities in Ilam Province

As many as 130 facilities are estimated to be put into operation in Iran’s Ilam province by the end of the current Iranian government (August 2021), the Deputy Governor of Ilam Province Ahmad Karami told Trend.

Karami noted that a total of 29 trillion rials (about $690 million) will be spent on these facilities.

The deputy governor added that 3 of these facilities are in the oil and gas sector. In addition, 7 facilities will be put into operation for the water supply of agricultural areas.

“Moreover, 7 facilities will be put into operation in the health sector, 17 in the road sector, 5 in the education sector, and 5 in the water and sewerage sector,” he said.

According to Karami, the remaining facilities to be put into operation will be in the mobile phone stations, gas supply, landscaping, and other fields.

Reportedly, 469 facilities were put into operation in Iran's Ilam province by the end of last Iranian year (March 20, 2021). In total, 34.7 trillion rials (about $828 million) were spent on these facilities and 9,520 people were employed.
