Kazakhstan reports increases in housing sale and purchase

The number of purchases and sales of real estate in Kazakhstan amounted to 323,693 transactions over the period from January through July 2021, which is 2.2 times more than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

The total number of buy/sell transactions in Kazakhstan in July 2021 amounted to 46,255 transactions which is 14.4 percent more than in June 2021 and 73.3 percent more than during the same month of 2020.

The largest number of transactions was observed in Almaty city where it amounted to 6,833 transactions, which is 10.1 percent less than in June 2021 and 61.2 percent more than in July 2020.

Almaty city is followed by Nur-Sultan city with 5,708 transactions, which is 5.8 percent more than during June 2021 and 91.4 percent more than in July 2020.

Karaganda region ranked third (5,361 transactions in July 2021), showing a 21.1-percent decrease compared to June 2021 and 81.5-percent increase compared to July 2020.

The least number of purchases and sale of housing transactions during July 2021 was observed in the North Kazakhstan region (886 transactions, decrease by 16.3 percent compared to June 2021 and increase by 72.5 percent compared to July 2020).
