The growth pace of prices of consumer goods for services 0.3% in May 2006 as compared March 2006. The State Statistics Committee told Trend in this period the prices of foodstuff rose 0.4%, non-food products 0.3%, tariffs for services 1.1%.
As compared to April in May the prices of chicken, fish, bananas, chestnut, nuts, cabbage, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, potato, sugar, wines and other products dropped. However, the prices of meat, sausage, cheese, eggs, butter, rose.
The growth pace of inflation made 5.6% as compared to last year. The prices of foodstuff rose 6.9%, non-food products 4.6%, tariffs in the service sector 3.1%.
