Absence of professional trainers cause absence of knowledge in corporate governance
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) project on corporate governance for Azerbaijan held the first familiarity meeting with 15 teachers of 4 universities the State Economy University, the State Oil Academy, the Caucasus University and Odlar Yurdu University, Trend reports.
The application of advanced experience in corporate governance is necessary for establishment of economic and legal climate. However, the student of legal and economic faculties do not necessary skills about effectively functioning corporate bodies, which is explained with the absence of large application of this subject at Azerbaijani schools, whereas they assume special importance in the developed countries.
The key reason for non-inclusion of course on corporate governance in the curriculums is absence of professional teachers and trainers in this sector.
