Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr N. Kirtskhalia / High-ranking representatives from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine discussed the implementation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Odessa-Plotsk-Gdansk oil pipeline project in Tbilisi on 26 September. Georgia, Azerbaijan and Poland were represented by Energy Ministers.
Implementation of the project with cooperation from oil companies was considered at the meeting, the Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Minister, Natig Aliyev said.
"There were plans to discuss the share of the sides in the consortium, but the issue was not touched upon," he said.
A document will be developed for signing for the energy summit in Vilnius to be attended by the presidents of all the countries, the Georgian Energy Minister, Alexander Khetaguri, said.
"This document envisages implementation of the first stage of the project and development of a feasibility study," he said.
Attraction of oil companies and defining oil supply routes from Georgia is being discussed by the working groups, the Georgian Minister said.
"A feasibility study developed by the working groups will clarify things, but nothing precise can be said at this stage," Khetaguri said.
