The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) put into operation a gas condensate wells in the shallow part of the Guneshli field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, the company reported.
The drilling was carried out from the Gunashli-6 platform. Daily production rate from depth in the interval of 3,660-3,645 is 140,000 cubic meters of gas and 16 tons of condensate.

The shallow part of the Guneshli field is developed by SOCAR at its own expense and the deep-bed of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fiedls- together with a consortium of foreign companies.
