BP and Shell sent a letter to Iran's Oil Ministry, offering investments in construction and development of gasoline, diesel and CNG filling stations, Mehr News Agency reported.
The Iranian Oil Ministry has not responded to BP and Shell offers yet and currently put the review of the offer on its agenda.
Currently 3,000 gasoline and diesel stations alongside 700 CNG stations are operating in the country. Iran plans to increase the number of gas, diesel and CNG stations up to 7,000.
