SOCAR's ecology department has conducted environmental monitoring in the field "Sangachal-Duvanli-Khere-Zire".
The monitoring was conducted within a working control program in 2011 to determine the parameters of impact on the ecosystem of the Caspian Sea and to study the dynamics of the food system in offshore conditions.
The samples were taken from marine sediments, benthos, phytoplankton and zooplankton, contained in seawater.
