The State Oil Company Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported around 1.8 million tons of oil from the Georgian port of Supsa in Jan.-July 2014, versus 1.52 million tons in the same period of 2013, SOCAR said on August 1.
SOCAR exported 334,800 tons of oil from Supsa in July, compared to 157,690 tons in the same period of 2013.
Some 2.73 million tons of oil were exported from Supsa in 2013, compared to 2.74 million tons in 2012, according to the report.
Oil is delivered to Supsa through the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
The operator of the Baku-Supsa pipeline is the Azerbaijan International Operational Company (AIOC).
