In the current week (Iranian week starts on Saturday, ends on Thursday), Persian Gulf Star Oil Company has so far produced 31 million liters of petroleum, Mohammad-Ali Dadvar, the managing director the company, said at the opening of the third phase of the company's refinery, Trend reports via ILNA.
The production will reach 45 million liters by the end of the week, he added.
Dadvar said that $60 million have been spent to realize the third phase.
Commenting on the quality of the 31 million liters of produced petroleum, Dadvar noted that the petroleum contains 29-30 percent of aromatics, 10 ppm of sulfur.
