A project to fix some 9,250 meters of cable for power distribution network in Bijan County of Kordestan PRovince has been carried out in Iran, said the official responsible for county's power distribution, Hadi Mohammad Moradian, Trend reports via IRNA.
"The project was carried out in the villages of the county, and was implement for some 3.3 billion rials (about $80,000)," he said.
"Some 5,700 meters of power network in rural village of Khvor Khvoreh has been fixed by changing 45 concrete bases and changing a 50 kva generator," he said.
Also, he said that some 1,450 meters were changed in the Hashtad Joft village, since the power system there wasn't up to standards, concrete foundations were also changed.
"Around 2,100 meters of low pressure cables were fixed in Gorgin village alongside changing the concrete foundation completely," he said.
Moradian said the other projects dealt with improving lights on boulevards, streets, worth over 21 billion rials (about $500,000), were carried out during the Fajr festival celebrations in February.
There are more than 41,000 households and industrial power consumers in Bijar County.
