Spain reduces imports of petroleum oils from Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan has exported 190,846 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 46.5 million euros to Spain in November 2020, Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s exported 3.5 million tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals worth 981.3 million euros to Spain from Jan. through Nov. 2020.

Thus, the November volume of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Spain is 65.6 percent more compared to October 2020 (554,880 tons) and is 9.9 percent more than in Jan. 2020 (173,605 tons).

November export value is also 68.9 percent less than in October 2020 (149.6 million euros) and is 45.5 percent less than in Jan. 2020 (85.4 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Spain amounted to $1.2 billion over the first 11 months of 2020, compared to $2.2 billion during the same period of 2019.

Kazakhstan’s export to Spain amounted to $1.05 billion over the period from January through Nov. 2020, compared to $2.1 billion during the same period of 2019.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Spain amounted to nearly $174.1 million over the reporting period, compared to $161.8 million during the same period of 2019.
