The Secretary of Iran`s Petrochemical Industry Owners Guild announced that production of petrochemical products grew by 10 percent in last Iranian year (March 2020 to March 2021), while the export of these products has increased by 13 percent.
A total of 11 new petrochemical plants were inaugurated in the country, which resulted in a 10 percent increase in production, the Secretary of Iran`s Petrochemical Industry Owners Guild Ahmad Mahdavi Abhari said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He went on to say that the Iran petrochemical industry was able to perform better in the export of products, compared to the previous year.
He added that despite the obstacles created by the sanctions, there are no problems for exports and receiving the money.
