The drilling operations of Nebitdag department of Turkmenistan’s Turkmennebit State Concern has drilled 9,772 meters of rock since the beginning of the year, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gas electronic newspaper.
As a result of the conducted exploration work, 2 new oil wells were put into operation, and drilling work is underway on 3 more wells in fields rich in hydrocarbon raw materials.
The indicators of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan increased from January through April 2021.
Thus, during the reporting period, the country exceeded the plan for the production of gasoline by 9 percent, diesel fuel by 0.8 percent, polypropylene by 5.5 percent, lubricating oils by 0.1 percent, liquefied gas - by 7.1 percent, natural and associated gas production - by 14.6 percent.
In addition, the plan for gas exports was exceeded by 19.3 percent, and the development of investments by 9.1 percent.
