Iran Energy Exchange announces data on its annual sales on domestic floor

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 17. In total, 2.48 million tons of hydrocarbon products worth 289 trillion rials (about $1.14 billion under the SANA exchange rate) were sold on the domestic floor of the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Trend reports via the report of IRENEX.

According to the report, sales of products on the domestic floor of the energy exchange for the last Iranian year increased by 146 percent in value and 14 percent in volume, compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021).

The following companies sold the most products on the domestic floor of the IRENEX:

- Tehran Oil Refining Company – 20 percent;

- South Pars Gas Company – 14 percent;

- Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company – 11 percent;

- Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company – 11 percent;

- Esfahan Oil Refining Company – 9 percent;

- Abadan Oil Refining Company – 9 percent;

- Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company – 7 percent;

- Shazand Oil Refiing Company – 7 percent;

- Zagros Petrochemical Company – 6 percent;

- Kermanshah Oil Refining Company – 6 percent.

The most sold products on the domestic floor were gas condensate (19 percent), methanol (16 percent) and light naphtha (14 percent).

In general, 1.49 quadrillion rials (about $5.86 billion under the SANA exchange rate) worth of goods were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange for the last Iranian year, which is an increase of 13 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year.
