BAKU, Azerbaijan, Aug.4. In the first half of 2022, bp spent about $229 million in operating expenditure and $791 million in capital expenditure on Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) activities, Trend reports citing bp.
This is while in the first half of 2021, the company spent about $266 million in operating expenditure and more than $846 million in capital expenditure.
As such, the company’s operating and capital expenditures on ACG dropped by 14 percent and 6.5 percent, respectively.
BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited is the operator on behalf of the Contractor Parties to the ACG Production Sharing Agreement.
ACG participating interests are: bp (30.37 percent), SOCAR (25 percent), MOL (9.57 percent), INPEX (9.31 percent), Equinor (7.27 percent), ExxonMobil (6.79 percent), TPAO (5.73 percent), ITOCHU (3.65 percent), ONGCVidesh (2.31 percent).
