BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 14. Iranian Central Oil Fields Company’s gas production is expected to increase by 100 million cubic meters daily in 2026 with the development of 13 gas fields under the company, Executive Director of the ICOFC Mehdi Heydari said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

At the same time, the company’s gas condensate production is expected to increase by 102,000 barrels daily within the mentioned period, Heydari said.

The director added that the mentioned gas fields are Dey, Sefid Zakhor, Halegan, Sefid Baghoun, Khartang, Gardan, Eram, Pazan, Madar, Tus, Babagir, Bistoon and Aghar.

“Along with the development of 13 fields, it is planned to develop the Farashband gas refinery, as well as to build gas pressure boosting stations in the Sarkhoon and Shanol fields,” he noted.

Heydari stressed that in total, about $4 billion is planned to be spent on all the mentioned work.

The Iranian Central Oil Fields Company has 84 oil and gas fields in 11 provinces of Iran. So far, 13 gas fields and 13 oil fields have been developed.

At present, the ICOFC has capacity to extract about 250,000 barrels of crude oil and 250 million cubic meters of gas per day.
