BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15. The volume of natural gas production grew in Azerbaijan from January through November 2022, Trend reports on December 15 referring to the Ministry of Energy.
According to the ministry, this figure amounted to 42.5 billion cubic meters, up by 2.8 billion cubic meters (seven percent) annually.
A total of 23 billion cubic meters were extracted from the Shah Deniz field and 12.2 billion cubic meters - from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field.
At the same time, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 7.3 billion cubic meters.
The ministry added that 20.1 billion cubic meters from the total volume of Azerbaijani gas produced were exported in the first 11 months of 2022, which is 20.1 percent more than in the same period last year.
