BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. Gas production from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) since the start of development up until April 1, 2023 stood at 207 billion cubic meters, Trend reports via Azerbaijan’s energy ministry.
Reportedly, ACG has produced 3.3 billion cubic meters of gas in the first quarter of 2023.
The total volume of gas production in Azerbaijan rose by 3 percent year-on-year, standing at 12.2 billion cubic meters from January through March 2023.
Azerbaijan exported 6.5 billion cubic meters of gas in Q1, 2023, or 11.2 percent more compared to Q1 2022.
BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited is the operator on behalf of the Contractor Parties to the ACG Production Sharing Agreement.
ACG participating interests are: bp (30.37%), SOCAR (25.0%), MOL (9.57%), INPEX (9.31%), Equinor (7.27%), ExxonMobil (6.79%), TPAO (5.73%), ITOCHU (3.65%), ONGCVidesh (2.31%).
