BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 19. Iran's Ghadir Electric and Solar Energy Company has successfully installed a 10 MW solar power plant in Isfahan province, Trend reports.

As Ali Shab Noord, Director General of the Supervision, Qualification, and Project Control Office of Iran's Renewable Energy and Electricity Productivity Organization (SATBA), announced, the power plant, constructed on a 15-hectare area, underwent preparations starting in 1400 and was connected to the national electricity grid on July 6 this year.

This solar power plant is expected to generate an annual production of 17.52 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, playing a crucial role in managing the electricity network during peak consumption periods.

Moreover, it will help save more than 4.73 million cubic meters of natural gas and prevent the release of 9,790 tons of environmental pollutants annually. Additionally, the electricity production process will save approximately 3,850 cubic meters of water.

The inauguration of the 10 MW solar power plant in the Jarqouye region marks another significant milestone in Iran's renewable energy efforts.
