BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. Azerbaijan exported more than 916,800 tons of crude oil and petroleum products to the Czech Republic from January through August 2023, which is 4.95 percent of the total export of raw materials from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
This indicator increased by 25.3 percent (85,100 tons) year-on-year.
The value of exports of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to the Czech Republic in the specified period amounted to $530.2 million. This is 9.55 percent ($55.9 million) less than in the same period of 2022.
In general, Azerbaijan exported 18.5 million tons of oil and petroleum products from January through August 2023, which is 2.9 percent more than in the same period last year (17.9 million tons). In value terms, oil exports exceeded $11.2 billion, which is 18.14 percent ($2.5 billion) less than in the same period of 2022.
