ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 23. Turkmenistan sold jet fuel to businessmen from the British Virgin Islands on its State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Trend reports.
According to the exchange, entrepreneurs of the British Virgin Islands have concluded a deal for the purchase of jet fuel at a discount of $50 per ton for a total of $3.85 million.
Furthermore, all the purchased jet fuel was produced at the enterprises of Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern.
At the same time, representatives of the business environment of Kyrgyzstan concluded a deal on the exchange for the purchase of dyed terry products from the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan for a total amount of $99,000.
Turkmenistan stands as one of the foremost nations globally when it comes to its oil and gas reservoirs. The nation places significant emphasis on the establishment of oil and gas refinement facilities, along with the global distribution of energy resources.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation for export-import operations.
