Modern spare parts and technological equipment have been used in repairing the catalytic cracking installation at the oil producing factory named after H. Aliyev, which now provides most of the domestic needs in fuel and liquid gas (butane butylenes, propane- propylene), SOCAR press-service told Trend. New high quality warm isolation materials have been purchased from Italy by an assignment of the SOCAR president, Rovnag Abdullayev. As a result all works have been performed effectively and in time.

The given installation is capable to recycle up to 2m tons of high vacuum distillate to produce fuel and liquid gas. It can produce daily 500-550 tons of liquefied gas.

Repair continued for 59 days (from February 3 to April 3). The installation is constantly in the state of repair as according to plan it should work 320 days a year. Local market was fully provided both with fuel and liquefied gas after the repair of the installation. Therefore, there were no problems with neither gasoline or any other light oil products. Whereas, the high demand on gas appeared as a result of the increase of diesel oil prices.
