First tanker with Azeri oil to leave Ceyhan on 4 Jun, BOTAЕћ states

The first tanker with Azerbaijani oil will leave the Ceyhan port on Sunday (4 June), Trend reports citing the deputy project director of BOTAЕћ BTC, Gekmen Chaloglu as sating to HaberTurk.

The oil shipment of The British Hawthorn started on 2 June. The tanker was a property of the British shipping agency Catoni.

The process of shipment is carried out in the closed regime through specially built pipelines, British Hawthorn, with the deadweight of 85,000 tons, will consequently sail to Savona port of Italy.

7 reservoirs in the Heydar Aliyev terminal were fulfilled with 150,000 tons of oil.

Oil runs via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC). The first oil batch has been purchased by US alliance ExxonMobil.

Azerbaijani oil reached the Heydar Aliyev terminal in Ceyhan on 28 May..
