Azenerji РђРћ launches erection of 220kV substation in Salyan area to improve power supply in Salyan and Bilasuvar areas and become a part of project for synchronization of Azerbaijans and Irans power systems, Trend reports with reference to AOs press service.
The project contractor is Sunir of Iran that concluded a subcontract with local AZENCO. Topographic, geodesic and geological studies have been performed at future construction site. Reinforced concrete support technology is applied first time in the republic. Orders for such supports manufacture are placed at factories in Tehran and Mingachevir.
The operations are performed at $75mln credit, from which 85% issued Iranian Export Cooperation Bank and 15% Azeri government.
