Р'Р , SC project operator, launched testing and commissioning of new gas export system, filling the pipeline with gas at Sangachal Terminal. The first gas will be delivered in late September 2006.
The gas for commissioning was pumped May 21 from Sangachal Terminal. The remainder of SCP will be tested in August after the gas is pumped in gas treatment units at Sangachal Terminal and offshore pipelines running from Shah Deniz field.
It will take nearly 0.1bn m3 of gas to test the whole Shah Deniz-SCP export system. SOCARs petroleum gas produced at ACG field is used for testing.
