The Senate of Uzbekistan’s Parliament approved the sample and design of a 100,000 soum banknote, Trend reports via Nuz.uz.
The date of issuance of the new banknote will be announced by the Central Bank.
At the end of last week, the press service of the Central Bank did not officially confirm the release of a new banknote in the near future.
The Central Bank press secretary only noted that technical development is underway, but it is difficult to announce the face value of the banknote.
