The total assets of Bank BTB decreased by 1.5 percent as of the second quarter of 2021 compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet on July 14.
In accordance with the report, the bank's total assets decreased for the year by 5.2 million manat ($3.05 million) up to 354.9 million manat ($208.8 million). In the structure of assets, the biggest share (66.8 percent) accounted for a loan portfolio in the amount of 237.2 million manat ($139.5 million), increasing by 13 percent for the year.
Fixed assets and intangible assets accounted for about 19.4 percent of the structure of the bank's total assets, which increased by 1.7 percent up to 68.8 million manat ($40.5 million).
Bank BTB's deposits in other banks and financial institutions decreased by 73.6 percent and amounted to 8.2 million manat ($4.8 million).
During the reporting period, the bank issued loans to financial institutions in the amount of 8.6 million manat ($5.05 million), which is 65.8 percent less than in the same period of last year.
More than one percent of the bank's assets accounted for the correspondent accounts in the amount of 3.9 million manat ($2.3 million), which increased by 13 percent on an annualized basis.
More than 3.6 percent accounted for cash and cash equivalents. This figure increased on an annualized basis by 13.6 percent up to 12.7 million manat ($7.5 million).
Investments in securities amounted to one million manat ($588,235), unchanged for the year. Other assets of Bank BTB as of the second quarter of 2021 amounted to 4.2 million manat ($2.5 million), decreasing by 13.1 percent compared to the same period of last year.
