Azerbaijan records growth in value of paid services to population y-o-y

The cost of the paid services provided to the population in Azerbaijan’s Baku city has grown from January through July 2021, Trend reports on Aug. 24 with reference to Baku’s Statistics Department.

According to the department, this showing exceeded 2.4 billion manat ($1.4 billion), up by 5.3 percent compared to the first seven months of 2020.

Legal entities rendered the services to the population in the amount of 2 billion manat ($1.18 billion), which is 83.9 percent of the total cost of all rendered services.

The average monthly nominal salary of hired employees in Baku amounted to 942.3 manat ($554.3), down by 1.8 percent on annual basis.

As earlier reported, the cost of paid services rendered to the population amounted to 4.3 billion manat ($2.5 billion) in Baku in 2020, which is 29.6 percent less compared to 2019.
