Turkmenistan, UAE discuss co-op in exchange trading

Turkmenistan and United Arab Emirates discussed cooperation in the field of exchange trading, Trend reports with reference to the ORIENT information portal.

The mentioned issue was discussed in the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan with the management of the Nasdaq Dubai Stock Exchange (UAE).

It is reported that representatives of Turkmen Ministries of Finance and Economy, Foreign Affairs, the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs and the Ashgabat Stock Exchange discussed with foreign colleagues the prospects for cooperation, the results of which will contribute to the development of the securities market in Turkmenistan.

It is noted that regional and international shares of the Middle East are listed on the Nasdaq Dubai exchange. Through it, regional issuers can also gain access to participation in global securities transactions.

Earlier it was reported that representatives of business circles from the UAE and Pakistan purchased at the Turkmen commodity and raw materials exchange cotton yarn for a total amount of over 6,853,000 manat ($2 million).
