BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 22. The manat weakened against the euro at the end of February compared to the beginning of the month, Trend reports via the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
As of February 29, the euro exchange rate rose to 1.8766 manat.
According to the dynamics of the exchange rate, it can be seen that the largest increase in the cost fell on February 2 (by 0.63 percent, or 0.0116 manat, compared to the previous day).
Moreover, tracking the dynamics of the euro exchange rate, it almost reached a monthly maximum (1.8412) on February 22, but then a slight decrease in the value of the euro against the manat followed.
Thus, the exchange rate decreased by 0.04 percent (or 0.0008 manat) to 1.8395 manat per euro compared to the previous day, on February 26.
The largest decrease occurred on February 5, when the exchange rate decreased by 0.91 percent (or 0.0169 manat) to 1.8316 manat.
At the end of the month, the average exchange rate was 1.8349 manat per euro. The exchange rate reached its maximum level on February 2 (1.8485 manat per euro) and its minimum level on February 14 (1.8213 manat per euro).
