ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 4. The Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank became the first bank of Turkmenistan in terms of the number of issued cards, Trend reports.
According to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, as of early April 2024, the number of cards issued by Dayhanbank exceeded 1.99 million.
Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank took second place with almost 1.1 million cards, followed by Halkbank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank with 675,118 cards.
Dayhanbank mainly serves customers in various regions of the country. Thus, most of the bank's cards were issued to consumers in Mary (594,697), Dashoguz (493,780) and Lebap (439,087) regions.
