Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Azerbaijan's leading mobile operator Azercell Telekom Joint Venture (JV) has announced a new "BonusPay" campaign, the Company reports.
From 1 October until 31 December 2007, subscribers who top up their balance in the span of one day with two or more scratch cards, regardless of their nominal value, will receive an extra 250 bonus units.
Bonus-units will be added onto the subscriber's balance the following day after the scratch cards have been inputted.
Today, the number of subscribers exceeds 2.5mln. The company covers 78% of the territory and 99% of the population of Azerbaijan with its mobile communication network. The company has roaming agreements with 300 operators.
Azercell JSC was established on 19 January 1996 by Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS and the Azerbaijani Ministry of Telecommunications.
Azercell Telekom is a joint venture of the Azerbaijani Telecommunications and IT Ministry (35.7%) and Fintur Holdings BV (64.3 %), with 58.55% belonging to TeliaSonera and 41.45% to Turkcell.
