Azerbaijan mulls training of specialists in satellite communications sphere

The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry's State Radio Frequency Administration discussed the existing problems and the state of satellite communications, the administration reported.

The issue was taken up by the administration of the Regional Commonwealth of Communications (RCC) in the context of the seminar, organized by the regional office of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Moscow March 2-3.

Based on the regulation of the annual international information circular for the frequencies of the Radio communication Bureau, the participants decided to undertake appropriate work on the training of specialists in the field of satellite communications and regulations for the use of software solutions for data collection forms for e-applications SpaceCom.

The participants also discussed issues of related work in preparation for the World Radiocommunication Conference to be held in 2012. The task of the World Conference is to analyze and revise the Radio Regulations, the international treaty governing the use of radio spectrum and the geostationary and non-geostationary satellite orbits.
