Azerbaijan's postal operator introduces Express Mail Service

Postal operator of Azerbaijan, Azerpoct LLC, has introduced EMS (Express Mail Service) in the country, the Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies reported. According to ministry, the service is provided through Internet resource of Azerexpresspost (www.azems.az).

Postal operator of Azerbaijan, Azerpoct LLC, has introduced EMS (Express Mail Service) in the country, the Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies reported.
According to ministry, the service is provided through Internet resource of Azerexpresspost (www.azems.az).

Today, for the control of mail, is used an international automated system of tracking IPS, which is used by postal communication operators of almost 70 countries worldwide.

IPS System handles all types of international mail: mail, parcels, sending expedited mail EMS, all categories of mail sent by air and ground - both international and domestic. The system automates the process of formation of dispatches, printing documentation and labels, international mutual accounts with the postal administrations.

Automation of technological processes of processing international mails via the IPS allows tracking the movement and status of mail at all stages.

In addition to the IPS system, Azerpoct also connected to the electronic system of responses to requests of foreign postal administrations to search incoming mails based on Internet through Cricket system. Via this system the postal operator cooperates with around 80 countries.
