The Administration of the Regional Commonwealth of Communications (RCC) will consider the strategy of cooperation of CIS member-countries in the field of information and an action plan to implement it until 2015, the RCC said.
This issue will be discussed during the 12th session of the Commission on Information Security under the Coordination Council of CIS member-countries on information, functioning under the RCC. The meeting will be held in Moscow November 25.
Azerbaijan will be represented by the Communications and IT Ministry.
The participants of the meeting will also become acquainted with the activities to create a single point to ensure security in cyberspace among the CIS member-countries, as well as the draft Convention on the recognition of the legal value of electronic documents in the international exchange of information between the CIS member-countries.
The members of the committee will get proposals to implement technologies and cross-border exchange of information related to the control of imports and exports of hi-tech products containing cryptographic functions and protection of information in the CIS member-countries.
Special attention will be paid to the preparation of specialists in the field of information security.
