The Information Technology Institute (ITI) of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) is implementing a project to ensure the information security of the "E-Government" project, Institute Director Rasim Aliguliyev told Trend on Friday.
Today, the institute is working on developing algorithms and methods for information security management.
"The work includes an analysis of information security, the program's operational and strategic management, and an analysis of internal and external threats. All of the above is a component of a biometric identification system. This component aims to ensure full security, which in turn is a component of national security," Aliguliyev said.
The work undertaken by the institute, he said, also includes research on methods to ensure the information security of state secrets in an e-environment.
