The computing capacity of the DATA Center of the Institute of Information Technologies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences may be increased, the institute told Trend Jan. 4.
The resources of the center increased from 15 to 17 teraflops at the beginning of 2017.
"The computing capacity of the center is being increased either in view of keeping up with the trend or in case of urgent need,” the Institute of Information Technologies said.
"The data transfer speed reaches 1.5 gigabits,” the institute said. “We get 1 gigabit traffic via GEANT and 500 more megabits via Delta Telecom infrastructure. We also receive 50 more gigabits of data traffic via the GEANT network."
