Azerbaijan's achievements in the high technologies will be demonstrated in the Azerbaijani national pavilion at the ITU Telecom World 2018, a source in the country's telecommunications market told Trend on Aug. 17.
The event will be held in Durban, South Africa, September 10-13.
Azerbaijani projects (Azermarka and Aztelekom) will be exhibited at the stand 2E01, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani delegation will be headed by Deputy Minister Elmir Velizade.
ITU Telecom World is a large exhibition gathering representatives of the public sector, international and local companies in the telecommunications and information technologies sectors from around the world.
The event is expected to be attended by ministers, heads of companies, industry experts, investors and others.
The event's agenda is centered on debates and discussions, as well as knowledge exchange on the key areas of the industry, including innovations, mobile technologies, broadband access, satellite communications, cloud technologies and so on.
