The infrastructure of next generation IDs of Azerbaijan is planned to be integrated into the digital identification system of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), a source in Azerbaijan’s IT market told Trend.
The source noted that this issue is the subject of discussions with the relevant agencies of Azerbaijan.
“The primary concept of the project of creating a digital identification system will be presented until the end of the year, and its commissioning is scheduled for the end of August 2019,” said the source.
The digital identification system will be created on the basis of the Nutanix Platform. Four-socket Intel x86 processors will be used on Lenovo hardware. The blockchain platform Hyperledger Fabric will be based on the same equipment.
