Azerbaijan’s Aztelekom LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies will allocate over 849,442 manat ($499,670) for the purchase of 29,824 ADSL / VDSL units and 3,072 nos. of POTS - DSLAM equipment to ensure the port capacity, Trend reports with reference to the public procurement portal.
According to the portal, Aztelekom LLC has signed relevant contracts with Huawei Technologies Azerbaijan LLC, under which the winning company will be paid 849,442 manat.
Recently, Aztelekom LLC has been working on a network reconstruction project based on DWDM (Dense Wavelengt Division Multiplexing) and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) technologies, in order to meet the demand for telecommunication services, as well as provide high-quality, stable and multi-stage communication services.
