The share of devices on the Android platform in the market of operating systems in Azerbaijan in 2021 amounted to 40.78 percent, which is by 1.84 percent more than in 2020, Trend reports citing the Global Stats statistical center.
Windows OS (Microsoft) ranked second with a share of 31.63 percent, decreasing by 3.37 percent for the year.
Apple's iOS operating system still ranks third. Its share in the local market increased by 1.36 percent for the year, reaching 16.52 percent.
The share of macOS X (Apple) in the local market decreased by 1.17 percent for the year, reaching 6.8 percent.
The less popular operating systems in the country's market are Linux – 0.81 percent, other operating systems – 3.34 percent.
