BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. Azerbaijan produced computer equipment and electronics worth 42.2 million manat ($24.8 million) from January through March 2022, which is 23.6 percent or 10 million manat ($5.88 million) less than the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the report of Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, the production of computers, electronic and optical products in Azerbaijan increased in quantitative terms by 4.1 percent and electrical equipment doubled from January through March 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
Retail trade turnover of these products in 1Q2022 amounted to 125.6 million manat ($73.8 million), which is 60.2 million manat ($35.4 million) or 92 percent more than in 1Q2021.
