BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Azerbaijan plans to prepare proposals on changes in the field of innovation and public procurement by the end of June, Deputy Head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Oversight and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan Jafar Babayev said, Trend reports.
He made the remark during the meeting of the working group on commodity market efficiency and competition of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings held in Baku.
“By the end of June, Azerbaijan plans to prepare proposals on changes related to innovation and public procurement. These proposals will be later submitted to the Azerbaijani Parliament. The main goal is to ensure transparency of contracts and the involvement of companies in innovation processes,” Babayev noted.
