An Azerbaijani delegation comprised of Novruz Mammadov, the head of the Post Communications Department of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, and adviser to the General Director of Azerpocht state company, Nushiravan Osmanov participated in an international workshop on Development of markets and post services for the Administration of the communication of the Regional Commonwealth of Communication (RCC).
Mammadov told Trend he made a presentation on Development of financial services in the Azerbaijani post enterprises under the world Banks project.
Attending the event were representatives from CIS and Baltic countries, as well as Slovenia, Denmark, Finland, delegates of the World Post Union and other organizations.
Besides, the delegation also participated in the meetings of the post commission of the RCC and meeting of the post operators of the RCC held in Riga.
The gathering discussed issue of marks on post payments, development of the philately, as well as current measures on preparations for the 15th anniversary of RCC.
Founded in 1991 the full members of the RCC are the communications administrations of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
