Preparations for the awards ceremony in the field of tourism, 'Welcome to Georgia', is kicking off in Georgia, Trend reports with reference to Sputnik Georgia.
In preparation for the award ceremony, on Tuesday, June 18, the Tourism and Hospitality Conference will be held in Tbilisi. The co-organizer of the project is National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
The project is officially supported by the Mayor of Tbilisi and the Partnership Foundation. The conference will be attended by up to 400 representatives of the private and public sectors, local and international experts.
In addition, there will be new nominations, such as: the best airline, the best visiting tour operator, the best small wine cellar, the best hotel for the weekend, the best direction and many others.
“This is a very important year for the project, because this is the fifth year - the anniversary year. This press conference we are heading all our activities related to the award ceremony in 2019. Traditionally, we organize a conference as part of an award project. We started organizing it in 2016, because our participants asked to hold business events, ” said the founder of the award, Marina Chaika at the press conference.
