The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port of the Gilan Province (northern Iran) decreased by 0.6 percent in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2021), compared to the 3rd month of the current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to the statistics, about 140,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port in the fourth month. Of this, 27,000 tons were loaded and 113,000 tons were unloaded.
While in the third month of the current Iranian year, a total of 150,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port.
In addition, 25,600 tons of cargo were exported and 113,000 tons were imported through the Anzali port over the reporting month.
Also, 1,510 tons of cargo were loaded and 20 tons were unloaded in the port for transit, as well as, 68 tons of cargo were unloaded for other purposes in the fourth month, the statistics said.
According to the statistics, 94,200 tons of essential products, 770 tons of metal products, 9,800 tons of construction and mining materials, 704 of equipment, vehicles and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port in the 4th month of the current Iranian year.
Moreover, 6,500 tons of chemicals, 21,600 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 6 tons of small and assorted products, 5,210 tons of container products and 1,140 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in this port within the mentioned month.
As reported, about 12.5 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the fourth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.99 million tons were loaded and 5.5 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 20.8 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
