Some 76.8 percent of the total cargo transportation accounted for road freight traffic in Azerbaijan in January 2022 through the Single Window Export Support Center, the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication told Trend.
According to the center, this figure increased by 40.5 percent compared to December 2021.
The export of the Azerbaijani non-oil products through the Single Window Export Support Center reached $9 million in January of this year.
Meanwhile, 22.2 percent of cargo transportation accounted for air transport, which is 29.5 percent less than in December of last year.
The share of cargo transportation by railway in the total volume of cargo transportation in January 2022 amounted to 0.3 percent, down by 10.1 percent in monthly terms.
At the same time, cargo transportation by other modes of transport made up 0.7 percent of the total volume.
Azerbaijan’s total export through the Single Window system exceeded $720 million from 2017 through January 2022.
